Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski smashes Gerd Müller 49 – Bundesliga goal-scoring record for a single season on Saturday, when he scored in the last minute of their last game, with a 5-2 win over Augsburg, 45 goals to take his tally – former Bayern' one more goal.
The Polish striker is behind 277 goals in the Bundesliga all-time list of goalscorers, only Müller
. Müller's previous record was the 1971/72 season with 40 goals, a total that Lewandowski equalized last week.

Kingsley Coman was also on the score sheet two minutes before the timeout as his low net shot passed by Gikiewicz.
The visitors came alive in the middle of the second half with André Hahn and Florian Niederlechner scoring two goals. But it was Lewandowski who had the last word.
At the other end of the table, former Bundesliga champions Werder Bremen are relegated for the first time since 1980 after a 4-2 defeat to Borussia Moenchengladbach, the already relegated Schalke .
Meanwhile, Cologne is the third minute winner against Schalke.
